A livestreamed anniversary gala, owned end to end — four workstreams, four sponsors, one night built to work as show, sponsor vehicle, and content at once.
The Brief
For a street-dance club's fourth anniversary, one night carried three jobs simultaneously: prove four years of growth to the room, return real value to paying sponsors, and travel as content far beyond a small theatre. The name said it out loud — 佛跳墙: FOUR is our age, DANCE is the life of it, STRONG is where we're headed. Most student galas pick one of those jobs. This one couldn't.
The Move
Rather than bolt sponsorship onto a finished show, I wove it through the entire run — host mentions, on-screen brand material, QR standees, and red-packet giveaways — and tied the biggest reward to the night's climax. The champion of the live 7-to-smoke Battle walked away with the sponsor's prize, so the commercial layer and the cultural high point became the same moment. Sponsors got their spotlight; the crowd got the underground energy they came for.
How it worked
I co-authored the plan and ran the night as a single production across four workstreams — programme, staging, lighting & screen, and external relations. I first-round-reviewed and cut a full submission down to a tight 16-act bill, then directed the room from a 7-to-smoke Battle through to the closing birthday segment. In parallel I secured and serviced four sponsors, and delivered the whole night across the club's Bilibili channel.

One main + two angled side LED screens for depth, plus neon signage (“bat” / “tle”) and wall-edge lights.
Cue-by-cue lighting and bespoke LED content briefed and assigned per act across the bill.
Four brands secured, then integrated and serviced end to end — mentions, screens, QR, and Battle prizes.
Impact

A single highlight from the night, posted to the club's official Douyin (@浙传D.Forward校街舞队), crossed 110,000 likes with thousands of shares — the small-theatre show traveling far past the room it played in.
